Volvo V60
As a model line, the V60 is a comfortable, practical mid-size estate. The steering is light and precise, the suspension filters out imperfections neatly and it stays composed on long trips. The first generation feels slightly softer, the second firmer and more modern. Diesels deliver smooth torque and mild-hybrids respond eagerly; the T8 plug-in hybrid is noticeably quicker. Expect no sharp sportiness, but a safe, predictable and relaxed drive for everyday use and long holidays.
