The iX3 is the electric version of the X3, combining the familiar, practical X3 package with an efficient electric drivetrain and generous range.

Upgrades

The iX3 swaps the X3’s petrol and diesel engines for a single rear-mounted electric motor (286 hp).
The 74 kWh battery reaches around 460 km of WLTP range.
DC fast-charging up to 150 kW adds a lot of range in a short time.
It keeps the full, practical X3 package (space and boot).

Fixes

The combustion X3’s CO₂ emissions are gone entirely.
The X3 engine and gearbox noise was replaced by a near-silent drive.
