The 2 Series (G42) — the modern rear-wheel-drive BMW coupe.

The G42 is the modern take on the classic rear-wheel-drive BMW coupe, with sharp handling and strong petrol and diesel engines.

Upgrades

The G42 grew markedly over the F22 (wheelbase +51 mm) for more cabin space.
The CLAR platform made the G42 stiffer and lighter than the F22.
New B48/B58 engines with 48V mild-hybrid on the strongest versions.
